Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

Perfetti Van Melle, one of the largest multinational companies in the confectionary market, owner of leading local and global brands like Vivident, Mentos, Chupa Chups or Big Babol would like to employ Tax Specialist who is responsible for VAT refund process, tax declarations & tax planning, compliance of the accounting records and providing support &coordinate the tax&independent audits. Job holder will report to Financial Accounting Manager:

• Being responsible for VAT refund process and preparing necessary works & reports
• Preparing all kind of tax declarations and tax payment details
• Making tax planning /optimizing the tax payments within the legal framework
• Being responsible for supporting and coordinating the tax &independent audits and providing all neccessary information to auditors
• Being key person for giving answer to inquiries from various taxing jurisdictions/from region accountants/tax inspectors/auditors and our Company’s business units in terms of tax & accounting principles
• Review the changing tax obligations & legislations and informing related business units
• Controlling and checking the accounting records in accordance with the Turkish Tax and Accounting Legislations
• Review of the foreign invoices in terms of tax perspective
• Supporting and coordinating the transfer pricing report by providing necessary documents
• Being responsible for all contracts in terms of tax legislation and procedures of our company
• Organizing and following the legal destruction process and necessary documents

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics or related departments
• Min. 2 - 4 years of experience in Audit Firms Tax departments or multinationals
• Being candidate of Certification of public accountant, (Being CPA is an asset)
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications
• Good command of English
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines required
• Team-oriented work style
