We are now looking for an Accounting Specialist in Finance department to join our accounting team in Esenyurt, Istanbul. 

Job Purpose

To support accurate accounting operations related to overhead expenses, supplier reconciliations, and financial processes while ensuring compliance, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and contributing to process improvements and reporting efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

•Support the registration and accurate processing of general administrative and marketing expense invoices.
•Assist in performing supplier reconciliations and issuing necessary return invoices in a timely manner.
•Act as a point of contact between Purchasing and Finance, guiding employees in selecting correct expense items.
•Support the identification, correction, and standardization of erroneous accounting entries and processes.
•Maintain communication with suppliers and assist in SAP clearing processes and reconciliations.
•Assist in the registration and tracking of insurance and policy-related accounts.
•Support the recording and monitoring of prepaid and future-period expense accounts.
•Contribute to monthly foreign exchange valuation processes and ensure accurate follow-up.
•Assist in improving accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls.
•Support ongoing finance projects and contribute to process efficiency and data accuracy improvements.

The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Intermediate level of English proficiency
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with data.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to take initiative.
