Business Development Analyst

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Perfetti Van Melle is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum. We create imaginative products and brands that are enjoyed in over 150 countries and includes brands such as Vivident, Mentos, and Chupa Chups operating in the Food / Fast Consumption sector.

We are now looking for Business Development Analyst for our Sales Team, reporting to the Business Development Assistant Manager.

Details of the role are as follows:

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze Route to Market (RTM) performance, including Distribution Coverage, Route Optimization, Regional Planning, Store Segmentation, and Service Package effectiveness.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations to support Distribution Network and Channel Strategy decisions.
• Support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives by analyzing pricing, product/channel/customer mix, trade investments, value pools, and service costs.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to monitor commercial performance.
• Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities through quantitative analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for strategic projects.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization and business reporting.
  
  

The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or Computer Science, Management, Business or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in RTM or Trade Marketing or Business Development or Field Sales / Modern Trade Operations, preferably in FMCG company
• Use and deployment of Sales Force Automation tools
• Excellent command of MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Detail orientated with analytical skills and insight delivery skills
• Good presentation skills
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Big-picture thinking and vision
