Packaging Development Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take an active role in feasibility studies and line implementation phases of new projects.
• Ensure on-time packaging development in line with project timelines, collaborating with local and global stakeholders.
• Manage packaging development activities considering sustainability and productivity targets, and analyze packaging materials especially for new developments.
• Follow new trends and technologies, prepare technical documentation (drawings, specifications), and coordinate with Procurement for cost-related activities.
• Create, update, and revise packaging recipes in SAP and related systems, and prepare procedures for new or modified packaging lines.
• Define packaging laboratory standards, control parameters, and lead Quality and Food Safety tasks within the scope of responsibility.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging (preferred)
• SAP knowledge is an asset
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proactive team player with good negotiation abilities
