Are you experienced in financial reporting & consolidation and do you like to work on a global scale? Then this is your chance to join the Group Finance team at Perfetti Van Melle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage the consolidation of financial data of all global legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with Dutch GAAP.
• Work closely with regional finance teams, leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process at group level.
• Support external reporting requirements and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance.
• Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of group-level reporting through continuous process improvements.
• Maintain and manage the global master data dimensions for financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, variance analysis, and commentary to provide insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize the financial consolidation system and reporting tools.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all legal entities.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial reporting specialists (2 FTE), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

SKILLS

• Strong technical accounting background with extensive experience in financial consolidation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex processes.
• Experience with financial consolidation systems (preferably Tagetik).
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and preferably also IFRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in managing a small team (2 FTE).
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is essential.
• 7+ years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting within a multinational organization.
• Ability to work in a decentralized environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
