WHAT YOU WILL DO

Strategic Planning and Execution

Lead OC-wide procurement strategy formulation and execution aligned with business growth targets.

Own category management for direct/indirect materials, sourcing channel optimization, and cost-down roadmaps.

Procurement Operations & Governance

Own & manage E2E procurement processes incl. PR to PO, vendor onboarding, contract lifecycle, & compliance

Manage tactical sourcing and tail spend through data-driven analyses, formulating sourcing strategies, and executing spot buys – incl. high-touch, emergency, ad hoc purchases

Establish, document, and maintain procurement policies, standard operating procedures, and controls

Ensure adherence to internal policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements

Process Optimization

Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

Standardize procurement workflows across BUs/regions

Partner with Users to streamline processes, reduce cycle time

Optimize use of buying channels; drive automated buying

Performance Management & Analytics

Define and track procurement KPIs, develop dashboards and insights (e.g., cycle time, compliance, supplier performance)

Report operational performance, risks, and opportunities

Team Leadership & Capability Building

Manage and develop procurement team members

Coach the team on best practices, continuous improvement, and development

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • 15+ years of total working experience, in procurement operations
  • 5+ years in procurement leadership / sr. managerial roles within large companies (USD 500 million+ in procurement spend), ideally in a global multi-BU organization
  • Proven track record in leading procurement function across multiple sites
  • Proven track record in driving coordination between business stakeholders, procurement operations
  • Experience in leading teams including managing outcomes, KPIs and SLAs, performance and people management
  • Experience in documenting SOPs, tracking compliance to SOPs, identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Experience in ensuring compliance to internal policies and external regulations
  • Experience in integrating digital tools with procurement processes
  • Experience in issue-resolution, with proven track record of identifying root causes and resolving issues
  • Experience with workflow management tools, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP), and Microsoft office applications, including managing large databases
