Lead the demand planning process and lead the China Demand Planning team in the production of a forecast of future demand, and to ensure that the output of this process is fully integrated into the overall IBP process. 2. Generate a rolling 24-month demand forecast which is based on building blocks with documented assumptions and incorporates market/category/customer trends and statistical modeling, that ensure the highest possible forecast accuracy and lowest possible forecast bias, 3. Close collaboration with multifunctional stakeholders like P&D team, sales, marketing and finance, challenging assumptions and beliefs regarding historical and projected performance which leads to effective knowledge sharing and optimal IBP consensus forecast to support company performance. 4. Refined systems and methods to continually improve forecasting accuracy and customer service so that the company can be recognized as a preferred supplier by our customers. 5. Feedback to the Supply Chain team on the opportunities and risks regarding capacity, resources and insights driven through KPIs.
What you will do
Develop and align robust demand forecast for Home Trade at multiple levels of aggregation (e.g. category, customer, channel, region, brand) for 24-month horizon 2. Review historical sales and category trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results 3. Review sales plans versus budget, LE and building blocks, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Finance to understand demand forecast drivers and recommend 4. Lead Pre-Demand Reviews with MT and TT channel heads, prepares and consolidates all relevant material and inputs for the monthly Demand Review and facilitates the meeting through gathering, organizing, and analysis of the demand data. Key inputs include: New product plans, Marketing, brand/product strategy, pricing, and promotional activities, Near to midterm sales plans, Competitive situations, Statistical forecast corrected for abnormal demand signals, Business plan, Product pricing plans, etc. Works collaboratively with finance and sales to identify risks, opportunities and gaps to plan, ensuring viable financialized scenarios are built to mitigate risks and close gaps. 5. Works closely with Portfolio /Category Manager to ensure Marketing inputs into the Demand Plan are captured, understood and are reasonable. Co-ordinates with Marketing and Supply Planning to track the timeline of NPDs, renovations and delisting’s. Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phaseouts. 6. Represents sales in the Integrated Reconciliation Review, ability to filter interesting issues from important ones and ensures key issues emerging from the IBP cycle have aligned and financially appraised plans for presentation to MBR. 7. Leads the weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) demand control process, ensuring that demand plans are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned with actual sales performance and operational constraints to maintain optimal inventory levels and support short-term decision-making. 8. Understands the end-to-end supply chain and the pressure points, proactively manages communication with stakeholders in supply constrained scenariosMonitor the performance of Demand Planning metrics, provide root cause analysis and propose improvement actions to owners, leverage the insights to continually improve forecast quality. Holds the tension on off-track KPIs 10. Ensure correct master data and forecast upload in SAP and Arkieva, carry out master data health checks periodically and cleans up portfolio 11. Manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance and developing competencies on demand forecasting techniques, data analysis, and process improvements to ensure high-quality insights and timely reporting for the IBP process 12. Support on tool implementation and improvement, dashboard and KPI reporting 13. Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What we need you
University degree in business, supply chain or operations disciplines. 2. Min. 5 years of experience on demand planning, experience with S&OP and or IBP and new product launch planning or in an end-to-end supply chain project role 3. Deep understanding of business processes and end to end supply chain or operations 4. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and closely collaborate with cross-functional teams in the OC, region and group 5. Strong time management skills, ensuring that all planning activities are completed on schedule, minimizing delays and maximizing overall process efficiency 6. Proficiency in English and Vietnamese, both spoken and written, is a must. 7. Good working experience with ERP system (SAP preferred), and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, Demand Planning Software (Arkieva) 8. Experience with statistical forecasting models, methodology and associated software 9. Adaptability/ flexibility to new environment, ability to work well both independently as a self-starter. 10. Demonstrated analytical skills and an eye for details. Has the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for decision-making and to constructively challenge marketing and sales forecasts, fosters collaborative discussions to drive accurate and realistic demand projections 11.
