EHS Coordinator

OVERVIEW

The EHS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at the facility. This role works closely with all departments to foster a safe work environment, implement and maintain EHS programs, and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and company policies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs and policies.

• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.

• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures.

• Maintain records and documentation required for compliance and audits.

• Provide EHS training and guidance to employees at all levels.

• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.

• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.

• Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

• Certification in safety or environmental programs (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, CSP, CHMM) a plus.
