Financial Analyst - Accounting

OVERVIEW

We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Financial Analyst to join our growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The purpose of the Financial Analyst role is to serve as a key member of the accounting team, responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, primarily through balance sheet reconciliations and process improvements. This role plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, supporting the Accounting Manager, and providing leadership during periods of high demand or absence, specifically project based support when necessary.

Key responsibilities will include performing root cause analysis, identifying process bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance accounting operations. The Financial Analyst will also assist with credit management, payables management, and general ledger (GL) management, ensuring smooth operations across these key areas. Additionally, this role requires a strong technical accounting foundation, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other comparable field
• Manufacturing or Distribution experience, preferred CPG experience.
• 5 + years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong focus on Credit, Payables, and General Ledger (GL) Management.
• Proven experience supervising and leading teams, with a track record of effectively managing and developing staff.
• Extensive expertise in performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, systems, and best practices, with the ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ability to manage complex, high-volume transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP Principles
