Financial Reporting Manager

OVERVIEW

We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Financial Reporting & Budget Manager to join our growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead and direct the team in the areas of financial accounting and monthly reporting activities of the company in the local statutory format. This role will be the primary point of contact for department managers in providing oversight for all areas including monthly spending, budget performance, and analysis. The role will also manage, train, and develop Financial Analysts to support all reporting Finance requirements, including FP&A ad hoc responsibilities. Lastly, this role will lead system integration projects and be responsible for B/S forecasting and cash generation projections. Additional responsibilities include:

• Oversee accounting processes, budgeting, and financial reporting. Develop and maintain reporting for future acquisitions.
• Attract, lead, coach, and develop a high performing Reporting and Budgeting team, ensuring career development, succession planning, and performance management systems are executed effectively.
• Manage annual and semi-annual budgeting process as well as overhead and balance sheet projections.
• Manage working capital and cash flow management and forecasting.
• Foster both internal and external customer relations to achieve the company’s long term strategic plan.
• Work with all cost centers and budget process owners to create annual budget and support functions to deliver timely reporting system changes and implementations.
• Partner with internal teams on reporting, analysis and other requests as required.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership and management experience.
• CPG experience is preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Exceptional financial/business literacy and analytical skills.
• Proven effectiveness managing by influence across all levels of an organization and across
• Functions both internally and externally to the organization.
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and navigate across the organization while engaging
• Others to ensure that the most effective solutions are implemented.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of business.
• Confidence and success in problem resolution, resourcefulness, and the ability to adjust to changes.
• Knowledge of SAP and Tagetik Software.
• Knowledge of Balance Sheet Analysis.
• Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Complete understanding of how all transactions flow through the income statement and balance sheet.
