Supply Planner

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Supply Planner will be responsible for supporting the Planning group for U.S. and Canadian businesses. The incumbent will manage the supply planning of imported and domestic products within their assigned business segment utilizing SAP/ERP systems. They will work closely with demand forecasting analysts, sales, marketing, finance, and supplying plants to support production requirements and maintain product availability.

• Analyze consumption versus forecast and maintain targeted service levels while meeting inventory objectives.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to support new product launches and ongoing product portfolio changes.
• Make appropriate adjustments to supply plans as commercial and production requirements evolve.
• Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing supply planning inputs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational and inventory plans.
• Work closely with global manufacturing plants and local third-party suppliers to replenish everyday items and support new product introductions.
• Build strong working relationships across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to ensure effective communication and execution of supply plans.
• Identify supply risks and recommend solutions to minimize disruptions and improve service performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, inventory management, and supply chain performance.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Preferred 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, materials management, inventory management, demand planning, distribution, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and replenishment processes.
• Familiarity with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound business recommendations.
• Financial and business acumen with an understanding of the impact of supply planning decisions on service, inventory, and cost.
• Ability to build productive working relationships across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and proactively identify and resolve supply issues.
• Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to contribute effectively as a collaborative member of a high-performing team.
