Automation Technician

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•  Install and configure automated machinery and control systems.
•  Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment.
•  Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
•  Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize systems.
•  Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
•  Document maintenance activities and system modifications.
•  Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
•  Provide technical support during equipment upgrades and installations.
•  Monitor system performance and propose improvements.
• Train operators and/or other colleagues on automated systems
• Participates in problem-solving and plant performance improvement activities.

Perform mandatory quality testing/checks and complete all related documentation

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

Ÿ Holder of HND/BSc in Electrical or Automation Engineering.

Ÿ Minimum 3 Years experience within the confectionery industry.

Ÿ Level 3 PVM Safety Awareness knowledge.

Ÿ Basic awareness of Good Manufacturing rules in a Food processing environment.

Ÿ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ÿ Passionate to support equipment reliability KPIs.

Ÿ Good housekeeping practices (GHK) and plant discipline mindset

ŸProven strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks

Ÿ Excellent Team work attitude.

Ÿ Prepared to work on Shift rotation.
