WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy for the company in line with objectives
  • Prepare the Annual Country & Brand Plans for the Marketing Function and obtain the Marketing Director’s approval
  • Lead responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Provide periodic information to measure volume and share growth against the plan and pro-actively recommend revisions
  • Maintain market intelligence of competitor’s activities, their dealer, consumer and customer promotions, new launches and recommend line of action
  • Plan and execute the Marketing Operations under strict Budgetary Controls
  • Drive innovation agenda based on changing consumer trends & agreed long-term plans
  • Work closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launche
  • Develop new brand communication in close liaison with Group Marketing
  • Ensure the company Advertising and Promotion Policy & Budgets are adhered to
  • After approval, implement in the most effective and cost beneficial manner achieving the strategic objectives
  • Determine the need, objectives and actions for both consumer and customer (pull & push) promotions and develop programs to achieve the said specific goals. Plan, coordinate and implementing promotional campaigns with Sales Activities

 

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years within multi-national or other major FMCG company of substantial size and turnover with a balanced mix of hands-on Sales & Brand Management/Marketing experience preferably in the F&B sector
  • Sound knowledge of Nigerian media landscape and consumers
  • Experience of having developed new & effective communication materials including TV copies
  • Able to demonstrate success in developing & leading teams
  • Experience working with & successfully managing 3rd party agencies / strategic partners
  • Budgetary & cost control management
  • Competitive intelligence & insights
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience
  • NPD
