Planning Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Track & Keep commitments to deliver the requested material on time, to the correct location, and with the proper quantity.

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.

• Determines material requirements to meet production schedules and Finished Goods demand.

• Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing and production.

• Ensure efficient inventory management i.e. the flow of finished goods in line with requirements at regional warehouses, without excessive stock or stock outs.

• Oversees the company's overall planning strategies to maximize process efficiency, productivity and profitability.

•Execute Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to balance the supply and demand plan with a forward looking view and highlight areas of risk for contingency planning and decision making.

•Maintain integrity of planning data to improve planning processes and systems.

Conduct monthly root cause analysis of KPI’s deviations and identify/drive corrective actions.

•Co-ordinates New Product Introduction and phase-out of materials to ensure minimum stock write-off for NPI’s or artwork change.
