WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Strategic Decision Support:
Act as a co-pilot to Sales and Marketing Directors. Evaluate business cases for new product development (NPD) and market expansion. - Revenue Management:
Analyze pricing strategies and "Value-to-Volume" trade-offs. You’ll identify opportunities to improve Gross Margin through better pack-price architecture. - Trade Spend Optimization:
Review and challenge the effectiveness of promotional activities (ROI analysis). You ensure that "buy-one-get-one" isn't just moving volume, but actually making money. - Budgeting & Rolling Forecasts:
Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the commercial side, ensuring sales targets are realistic and aligned with financial goals. - Performance Monitoring:
Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Net Revenue, Market Share, and Contribution Margin, providing "the story behind the numbers." - Risk & Opportunity Management:
Proactively identify financial risks (e.g., commodity price spikes) and opportunities (e.g., unexpected demand) to pivot the commercial strategy mid-quarter.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, with at least 2 years in a business partnering or commercial role within FMCG / Retail.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, with Professional Qualification (CPA, ACCA,CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and advanced Excel. Experience with data visualization tools, like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Influencing and Storytelling skills.
