WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Durability & Sensory Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring product quality and performance through Durability, Accelerated Stability Test (AST), Transport Test, and Sensory Evaluation.You will work closely with PPD, PD, Production, QC, Warehouse, RDC, and other stakeholders to execute testing, analyze results, and provide insights to support product quality and development.

Your Tasks:

1. Durability & AST

  • Coordinate durability and AST schedules with PPD/PD.

  • Conduct testing according to established standards and timelines.

  • Analyze results and prepare reports for relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update test reports in Group SharePoint.

2. Transport Test

  • Coordinate transport testing with Warehouse, RDC, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Conduct pre- and post-transport testing for edible products and packaging.

  • Analyze results and prepare transport test reports.

  • Follow up testing activities to ensure proper execution.

3. Sensory Evaluation

  • Select and train panelists for sensory evaluation.

  • Coordinate sample collection and daily sensory evaluation activities.

  • Analyze sensory data and prepare reports.

  • Share findings with Production, PPD, PD, QC, and relevant stakeholders.

4. Quality & Improvement

  • Support ISO, GMP, HACCP, and SHE implementation.

  • Support Group and internal QA initiatives.

  • Ensure proper collection and storage of retained samples.

  • Support quality improvement projects and other assigned QA activities.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant function.

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Food Technology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

  • Good understanding of QC activities, GMP, equipment, and manufacturing processes.

  • Basic knowledge of Sensory Evaluation.

  • Good understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, Halal, Allergen, 5S, Quality System, Environmental, and Safety requirements.

  • Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Not color blind, as required for product and sensory evaluation activities.

  • Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
