Contract: Full-time, fixed term of 7 month (maternity cover)

Job overview

As Business Intelligence Expert Europe, you will ensure the continuity and disciplined execution of key Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) initiatives across the region. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving European reporting, supporting the rollout of the Commercial Data Lake (CDL), and delivering high-impact commercial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Working within a complex, multi-country environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and global functions, ensuring data consistency, reporting excellence, and actionable insights for commercial teams.

Your core responsibilities at a glance:

• Support the implementation and embedding of the Commercial Data Lake (CDL) across Europe, including coordination with global teams, IT, and local markets
• Ensure continuity and improvement of European reporting (monthly management letters, country topsheets, standardized reporting)
• Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards while safeguarding KPI consistency across markets
• Deliver commercial insights and ad-hoc analytics to support business and strategic decisions
• Partner with the European Growth and RGM teams to provide pricing, promotion and portfolio analyses
• Contribute to the development of analytical capabilities such as the Must Sell List (MSL) framework
• Support BI&A community collaboration, share best practices, and explore AI-enabled and automation solutions

The ideal recipe for our new Business Intelligence Expert:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Around 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics or similar roles, ideally within FMCG
• Strong analytical mindset with experience transforming complex datasets into actionable insights
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Excel, with experience working with large datasets
• Experience with retail data, SAP data and commercial analytics (sales, trade marketing or route-to-market)
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, data science or AI tools is a plus
• Ability to navigate complex environments and collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity, adaptability and a passion for turning data into impactful business stories
