Main purpose of the role

For our international engineering team, we are looking for a new resource in the role of Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the creation of the Electrical Panels of the machines, machine edges and operating programs for the machines commissioned to the team by managing the personnel of external specialized companies. He/she will also have to manage the after-sales and assistance to the subsidiaries.

What you will do

• Creation of budgets for the execution of overhaul work or the creation of process or packaging machines;
• Management of the entire project phase (for the electrical / electronic part) from the definition of the budget, up to the start up at destination, also passing through the management of machine safety for a possible final certification;
• Implementation of the assigned projects with respect to the times and costs and quality defined in the project specification;
• Management of the testing and start-up phase of the machine at the destination country;
• "Post-sale" assistance on operating problems, spare parts, etc.;
• Management of external suppliers.

Our Perfect Candidate

• Diploma from an electronic or mechatronic technical institute or Degree in electrical/electronic engineering;
• Knowledge of the electrical systems of machinery (reading and creating electrical diagrams) and factories (reception cabins, transformation cabins, department panels, etc.); Knowledge of programming (PLC, inverter) and electronic components used to carry out the work;
• Siemens language;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Construction of automatic machines preferably in the food sector;
• Willingness to travel to other countries worldwide (short trips, 1-2 weeks, approximately every 2-3 months).
