WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect categories including (but not limited to) facility management, IT services, marketing services, MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), office supplies, utilities, and professional services.
- Develop and maintain a robust vendor base through effective sourcing strategies.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, pricing, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of service with vendors and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to understand needs and provide procurement support.
- Track purchase orders, manage budgets, and ensure procurement activities align with cost-saving targets.
- Continuously identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.
- Ensure timely processing of PRs (Purchase Requisitions) and POs (Purchase Orders) in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, avoiding any operational delays or service interruptions.
- Resolve vendor issues, manage disputes, and drive performance improvement.
- Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management decision-making.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Procurement Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a manufacturing MNC environment.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of procurement systems (SAP or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
