Senior Product Designer

SELECTION COMMUNICATION & DESIGN AGENCY, the in-house creative agency of Perfetti Van Melle Group, is looking to strengthen and complete the internal offering of its creative department with a:

SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

The role reports to the Design Director and operates in close connection with General Management, R&D, local and global marketing, procurement, engineering, production, and packaging production. We are looking for a senior professional with conceptual strength, fast thinking, aesthetic sensitivity, and the ability to lead a project from the first insight through to execution. A professional capable of conceiving and transforming a creative stretch into a strong proposal in a short time, giving it visual quality and supporting it throughout the entire workflow with timing, concreteness, responsibility, and vision.

Main Responsabilities

• Ideation and development of new product and packaging concepts, with a clear and recognisable creative signature.
• Translation of trends, insights, and brand directions into strong, relevant, and desirable visual proposals.
• Development of renderings and presentation materials able to enhance the project and support its approval.
• Ownership of timing, priorities, and workflow quality, supported by a resource active on the process who will report functionally to the role.
• Support of each project from concept to execution, keeping together creative idea, feasibility, and final quality.

Previous experience, skills, and competencies required

• At least 5 years of experience leading projects and managing the related development process, preferably gained in design-led environments and/or in the FMCG sector.
• Solid background in design, architecture, and applied arts.
• Understanding of cross-functional processes and ability to move effectively across different functions.
  Fluent English.
  Strong command of visualisation and rendering tools, particularly Rhino, Cinema 4D, and similar tools.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, curiosity, proactivity, and a mature aesthetic sense
