WHAT YOU WILL DO
Brand Manager acts as a business owner, being responsible for leading the strategic and operational execution for the entire success of a brand.
Responsibilities:
- Define category / brand vision & growth strategies
- Responsible to meet the annual sales target and manage brand P&L
- Drive penetration through strengthening both mental & physical availability
- Develop & implement locally relevant product and integrated marketing campaign while aligning with global brand direction
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate brand performance and consumer feedback
- Track market trend, competitive launches, communications, and other marketing activities
- Execute relevant learning plans including consumer researches
- Develop package design with in-house design agency in Italy
- Maximize return on marketing investment through effective budget allocation & tracking
- Collaborate with distributor and external partners to deliver brand consistency, marketing competitiveness, and business performance
Brand Manager operates in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive brand strategy and execution. Key interactions include:

This role requires strong communication skills, proactive stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, matrixed environment to ensure brand consistency and market success.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA) is plus
- 5+ years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods companies in Japan
- Experience in confectionery, food and beverage Marketing is plus
- Experience working in fast-paced categories
- Experience working in cross-functional environment (internal, external including advertising / media / PR agencies)
- Working experience with distributor / working with global headquarter is plus
- Experience in leveraging consumer researches
- Experience in new product development and launches
- Experience developing integrated marketing campaign
- Digital marketing led campaign experience is plus
- Native level Japanese and business level English skill in both written and spoken is required
