WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and analysis
• Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in financial management processes

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and financial management
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
• Excellent Knowledge of SAP
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and regulations
