JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Indirect Procurement Execution
• Source and procure indirect goods and services for Marketing (e.g., advertising, media buying, creative agency services), Trade Marketing (e.g., POSM, shop displays, trade event services), Sales, HR (e.g., corporate event, recruitment, training, insurance, health checks, canteen services), and IT (e.g., software, tools).
• Implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and meet delivery timelines.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and supplier selection.
2. Cross-Functional support
• Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, HR, and IT to understand their procurement needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Support Marketing with sourcing advertising services, media buying, and event activation.
• Assist Trade Marketing and Commercial teams in procuring POSM, shop displays, and trade event services.
• Coordinate with HR and IT to procure recruitment, training, insurance, health check, third-party labour, canteen services, and IT tools/software.
3. Supplier Coordination & Contract Execution
• Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements while maintaining positive relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, quality compliance) and report issues to the Procurement Manager.
• Support contract management, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely execution of agreements
4. Compliance and Risk Mitigation
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.
• Conduct supplier due diligence to minimize risks related to quality, financial stability, and compliance.
• Support the development of contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
5. Reporting and Process Support
• Provide regular updates on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance, to the Procurement Associate Manager.
• Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier interactions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect procurement or operational buying.
• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and E-Sourcing systems (e.g., Ariba).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with spend analysis tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
• Good problem-solving and communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive in learning and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Good in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken)
