Purpose of the Position

As Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and supporting our global communication strategy. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will manage both internal and external communication initiatives, ensuring consistency, alignment with our business objectives, and the enhancement of Perfetti Van Melle's global reputation.
From spearheading crisis communication strategies to collaborating across diverse teams, you will have the freedom to innovate and make a meaningful impact. Your work will span digital platforms, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the continued success of our fast-growing Corporate Communications team.
In short, your responsibilities look as follows:

  • General Communications: Develop and manage internal and external communication strategies across platforms like the company Intranet, LinkedIn, and corporate website.
  • Digital Presence Management: Oversee and enhance our digital channels to effectively communicate Perfetti Van Melle’s values and leadership.
  • Crisis Communication Management: Assist in creating crisis strategies and frameworks, ensuring timely and consistent messaging to safeguard our reputation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to functions such as Research, Development & Quality in their communication efforts.
  • Project Management: Lead global communication projects, delivering on-time results aligned with business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Support the development of KPIs to assess communication effectiveness and deliver actionable insights.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. 
  • 4-7 years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in a global or international setting.
  • A proven track record in crisis management, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills tailored to various communication platforms.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a knack for meeting deadlines.
  • Experience managing digital tools (Intranet, websites, social media platforms).
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate communication effectiveness and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, excelling in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with exceptional interpersonal skills
