THE OPPORTUNITY
Perfetti Van Melle is advancing its Trade Spend Transformation journey, moving from a “one-size-fits-all” TPM solution to an archetype-driven model tailored to each market’s maturity, complexity, and channel dynamics.
As the TPM Deployment & Change Management Lead, you will be the commercial lead for TPM market deployments — ensuring readiness, alignment with global templates, strong process capabilities, and successful user adoption. You’ll act as the bridge between global strategy and local execution, embedding governance, driving change management, and solving deployment challenges to ensure trade spend compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
Post-deployment, you will partner with RGM and IT teams to prioritize and coordinate system enhancements, driving continuous improvement, user satisfaction, and measurable business impact. As PVM transitions to SAP S/4HANA, you will collaborate closely with IT and SAP teams to ensure harmonization and long-term sustainability.
This role champions best practices, capability building, and TPM adoption across markets — maximizing ROI and delivering lasting transformation.
The team
TPM Deployment & Change Management Lead you collaborating closely with the Global Head of RGM, Regional RGM Leads, and the Customer Growth Team (RGM, RTM, TM), as well as project teams, local process owners, and key users. Externally, you’ll partners with consulting and technology providers such as XTEL, UpClear, Telus, Accenture, and NTT, with a specific focus on selected markets in scope. Work location Amsterdam Schipol Office.
What will be your impact:
- to drive the successful commercial deployment and change management of the TPM (Trade Promotion Management) system across markets, starting with Italy in 2026.
- Lead market readiness, go-live, and hypercare phases to ensure smooth TPM implementation.
- Partner with commercial, IT, and RGM teams globally and locally to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Build people and process capabilities to enable sustainable adoption and continuous improvement.
- Establish scalable frameworks, best practices, and governance standards for future market rollouts.
- Oversee trade spend governance and compliance, embedding global structures and reporting standards.
- Design and deliver targeted training programs to strengthen TPM and trade spend capabilities across teams.
- After deployment, drive continuous improvement, coordinating enhancements and ensuring system performance and usability.
This is a highly collaborative, strategic role at the intersection of commercial excellence, IT deployment, and change management, ideal for someone passionate about enabling global transformation and operational efficiency.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Technology, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in FMCG or Retail, including at least 5 years in commercial roles (e.g., Commercial Finance, RGM, Trade Marketing).
- Proven experience leading TPM/TPO/TSM deployments, ideally across complex or multi-market environments (e.g. Southern Europe) or across multiple markets
- Strong track record in change leadership and cross-functional project management.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
- Analytical and financial acumen, able to turn data into insights and actions that impact the P&L.
- Result-oriented, pragmatic, and execution-focused, with experience delivering projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and team leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to collaborate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to anticipate future needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and openness to international mobility.
