About the Role
As the Global Route to Market Manager, you will support the Global RTM Lead in developing, embedding, and continuously improving RTM methodologies, capabilities, processes, and technologies. You will work closely with global and local sales teams to increase the physical availability of our products, enhance trade partnerships, optimize sales force productivity, and drive data-led decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape RTM strategies and execution standards across our 22 Operating Companies, delivering €4 billion in revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- RTM Strategy & Optimization – Develop and deploy RTM frameworks, KPIs, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across diverse trade structures.
- Sales Force Enablement – Support training and capability-building programs for field sales teams and trade partners to enhance execution excellence.
- Technology & Automation – Assess and advance RTM systems (CRM, SFA, DMS, Image Recognition) to improve automation, data utilization, and performance tracking.
- RTM Data & Analytics – Contribute to the Global Commercial Data Lake (CDL) by developing RTM use cases, metrics, and visualization tools for real-time sales insights.
- Collaboration & Implementation – Work closely with Operating Companies, HR, IT, and Commercial teams to tailor global RTM strategies to local market needs.
- Perfect Store Execution – Support the deployment of execution standards to enhance in-store visibility and sales performance through data-driven tracking and incentives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years of experience in FMCG, retail, or a similar industry, with expertise in sales effectiveness, account management, and distributor-led models.
- Strong background in RTM strategy, commercial planning, and performance measurement.
- Hands-on experience with RTM tools and technology (CRM, SFA, DMS, Image Recognition).
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders across global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience working within Operating Companies and understanding global sales environments.
- Entrepreneurial, action-oriented, and adaptable in complex, evolving business landscapes
