About the Opportunity
At Perfetti van Melle we use SAP SuccessFactors as global HR Core system for managing employee related HR data.
This platform is integrated with various HR and non-HR systems to facilitate seamless data exchange, with SuccessFactors being the source.
Next to that, we are incorporating HR reporting dashboards and insights into our daily operations and decision-making.
To strengthen these above-mentioned initiatives, we are looking for someone to join us to support our data governance and data quality projects with 2 activities:
- Create an enhanced HR Data Definition Reference Guide related to our Global HR system.
The aim is to provide clear, standardized definitions and descriptions for all data elements within our core HR system, ensuring consistency and understanding among users. It is the foundation to further work on data governance standards.
- Create an enhanced HR Data Governance framework.
The aim is to developing, documenting HR data management standards and best practices with the collaboration of HR, IT, Master Data Management department.
Learning objectives
During this internship you will:
• Gain practical experience with global HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors) and processes
• Learn how HR data governance frameworks are designed and implemented in a global organization.
• Develop stakeholder management skills in an international environment
• Translate business needs into data definitions and processes
• Improve analytical and advisory skills
Guidance
- You will be supervised by an experienced HRIS specialist/manager and receive regular coaching moments. Additionally, SMEs of different areas related to data management will guide you during the projects.
- There is room to work on study assignments and internship reports required by your university.
The Team
During your internship you will be part of Group HRIS team which is responsible of the improvement and maintenance of SuccessFactors, our Global HR system. In addition, you will work closely with other functional areas of HR, Global IT, and Master Data Management colleagues.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
- You are looking for a “Meewerkstage” to learn and gain hands-on experience on HRIS processes, documenting and translating these to standardized Data Definition Reference Guide and a Governance document, and at the same time having the opportunity to come up with your recommendations for improvements.
- HBO/WO student in HRM, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Management or similar discipline and looking for an internship of at least 20 weeks.
- Proactive, structured and eager to learn
- You are available for a 32/ 40 hour per week during your internship
- You can start preferably in March 2026 in our office in Amsterdam Schiphol
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of HR processes is an advantage

- The internship will be formalized through an internship agreement with your educational institution. This is not an employment contract.
