WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the Packaging Manager, the successful candidate will be required to:

• Contribute to the development of new packaging for copackers, considering the nature of the product, marketing requests, functional requirements, appearance, and visual effects. This includes prioritizing and addressing needs communicated by the Packaging Manager, IPMS platform, or specific requests.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to issue Technical Specifications for Finished Goods to be sent to copackers.
• Issue Technical Specifications to suppliers to meet our needs, which are also necessary for performing quality inspections on incoming packaging materials.
• Generate the necessary reports to validate new packaging processes in copackers, in accordance with PVM group policies, guidelines, and instructions.
• Create pallet patterns for copackers and ensure database maintenance.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• University / Bachelor’s  Degree in Packaging and Materials Engineer or equivalent experience.
• Required at least 2 years of experience in tertiary packaging.
• Valuable Knowledge of Cape Pack.
• Proficiency in English.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous review and accuracy in packaging specifications and quality inspections.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and equipment.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with departments and suppliers to ensure clear understanding of technical specifications.
