Commercial  Controller Manager – Spain & Portugal (Iberia)

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Where we need you

The Commercial Business Control team is part of the Finance department and acts as a key sparring partner for all commercial teams in Iberia markets.

Your core responsibilities at a glance:

• You are acting as a financial business partner and contributing to strategic and tactical decision-making;
• With your reports and analyses, you provide valuable insights that guide commercial decisions to secure NS/KG;
• You play a central role in the Planning & Control cycle and, together with the Commercial Business Control team, own processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and monthly results analysis;
• You are the go-to business partner for Sales, especially regarding the setup and processing of contracts with retailers and distributors;
• You support the Commercial Finance Manager in further developing and communicating the vision and strategy of the department;
• You actively participate in cross-functional Revenue Growth Management projects, using data to contribute to our goal of profitable growth.

The ideal recipe for our new Commercial Controller Manager:

We probably don’t need to tell you that being approachable and supportive are key – but we’ll say it anyway, just to be sure 😉

Here are the key ingredients we’re looking for:

• University Master Degree (MSc.) extended with CPA (RA) or MBA (RC-MBA) title. Ideally with special focus on Finance / Controlling;
• At least 5-8 years of working experience in Financial & Business Control, international  environment, preferably FMCG;
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA databases and Power BI;
• Strong affinity for numbers and a commercial mindset;
• Curious to understand the stories behind the figures and skilled at clearly communicating them to others;
• Able to work independently, but definitely a team player;
• Strong sense of responsibility and a proactive mindset;
• Hands-on mentality and ambition to continuously improve yourself and the business;
• Energized by a finance role that’s closely connected to the business;
• Leadership and team management;
• Fluent in English.
