WHAT YOU WILL DO

Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Brand Manager with 7+ years of relevant experience in brand management, project leadership, and new product development (NPD). The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, consumer-centric thinking, and excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive impactful brand growth. This role is a critical contributor to our strategic goals, responsible for shaping the brand’s future and delivering seamless execution from ideation to in-market success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Management

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of consumer and trade marketing initiatives to build brand equity and drive growth.
  • Define and manage the brand and product portfolio strategy, including positioning, pricing, and competitive differentiation.
  • Monitor brand performance metrics and consumer insights to optimize marketing activities and enhance brand health.
  • Develop and implement a compelling media mix across traditional and digital channels to deliver impactful brand experiences.
  • Manage marketing budgets responsibly, ensuring ROI-driven allocation across projects and campaigns.
  • Serve as the key liaison with distributors to ensure alignment and consistency in brand execution and performance tracking.

 

2. New Product Development (NPD)

  • Develop and manage a robust NPD pipeline and seasonal innovation roadmap aligned with brand strategy and consumer needs.
  • Conduct global and regional portfolio reviews to identify trends and opportunities for new products, formats, and flavors.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, managing the NPD process from concept through to commercialization, adhering to the regional stage-gate process.
  • Collaborate with global brand, design, and regional R&D teams to ensure product and packaging development aligns with brand identity and market relevance.
  • Plan and implement 360° launch strategies across marketing, trade, and digital to support successful new product introductions.

 

3. Brand Communication

  • Develop locally relevant communication strategies, leveraging global/regional assets and adapting them to the market’s context.
  • Manage end-to-end development of digital and content campaigns in collaboration with creative and media agencies.
  • Oversee the adaptation of global/regional TVC and digital assets, ensuring cultural fit and effective message delivery.
  • Evaluate agency performance regularly and foster strong, collaborative relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in brand communication.

 

4. Project Management & Cross-functional Leadership

  • Lead and drive multiple concurrent projects with excellence in planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
  • Foster collaboration across commercial, supply chain, trade marketing, regulatory, and distributor partners to deliver projects on time and in full.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure smooth project execution.

 

5. Consumer & Market Analysis

  • Stay ahead of market trends, category dynamics, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and inform brand strategies.
  • Analyze Nielsen, Kantar, and internal data to track performance and develop actionable insights.
  • Monitor competitive launches, pricing, and communication to maintain category relevance and leadership.
  • Commission and interpret market research to guide brand strategy, innovation, and communication decisions.

 

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in brand management or marketing, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record of leading successful brand campaigns and launching new products.
  • Ability to initiate and lead projects and work independently with minimum supervision
  • Fluent or business proficiency in Korean language
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to relate to people across all levels within the organization and with external business partners
  • Hands-on, proactive, and agile mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to attend overseas business trip
  • Open to engage in an 18-month contract
