OVERVIEW

We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic Senior Regional Business Manager to join our growing team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Sr. Regional Business Manager drives volume and financial results for a network of confectionery wholesale and retail customers within an assigned geography. The role develops personal relationships with customers and effectively manages assigned broker sales to build credibility and deliver mutually beneficial results. Specific responsibilities for this role include:
• Drive channel defined DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing) initiatives to achieve area sales objectives within assigned geography.
• Manage associated business systems to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategy implementation.
• Conduct customer planning to ensure alignment with channel direction.
• Manage broker sales personnel to ensure the delivery of mutually beneficial sales results and the highest quality customer service.
• Communicate with Area Sales Manager to inform of dynamics and potential sales opportunities within assigned geography.
• Reviews and reports on customer retention and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Manage interactions with customers to identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities.
• Resolve problems with key customers to ensure that they receive the highest quality customer service.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-5 years of experience in Confectionery industry
• 2-5 years of experience in Sales
• 2-3 years of experience in Broker Management
• Fundamental sales understanding
• Strong relationship development skills
• Excellent administrative, written, and verbal skills
• Goal focused, driven to execute, and persuasive
• Ability and willingness to travel 80%
