WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Financial Accounting and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, managing audits, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Monitor and ensure adherence to financial regulations and statutory requirements
- Develop and implement internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations
- Coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies when necessary
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor financial accounting team, including GL Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury and inventory accounting. Allocate tasks and ensure team performance meets objectives
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Process Improvement
- Evaluate and enhance accounting systems and procedures
- Drive automation and efficiency in financial operations
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with senior management on financial planning and strategy
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Operations, compliance & audit
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing audits and internal controls, accounting software and ERP systems
- Financial analysis and reporting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Problem-solving and critical thinking
