Roles and Responsibilities
Drive regional growth and profitability by developing strategic decisions, delivering key sales and profitability KPIs, and ensuring effective customer strategy while building the capabilities of the team and supporting the key regional distributors.
Profitable Growth
- Develop Strategies and directions for the region based on market and competitor studies.
- Deliver Net Sales, Distribution and Profitability KPI’s
- Drive Top to Top meetings with RD and Top Consumers in the assigned area.
- Drive ROI on key programs in the region
Customer Strategy Management
- Develop 3-year strategic roadmap for RD and Clone customers in assigned geographic region
- Align customer Strategies and brand channel plans
- Drive Route-To-Market Opportunities and ensure implementation at the RD and Trade level
- Support Joint business planning with Key RD/s
- Thorough P&L Analysis with RD/s and identify key actions to close gaps
- Implement Pre and Post promotion evaluation for APL and SDE investments
In-Store Execution
- Ensure coverage plan compliance of DDMs aligned with monthly priorities and strategies
- Support drive for visible distribution in smaller retail formats
- Ensure V&D investments are properly deployed to the appropriate channel
- Ensure deployment of the ideal merchandiser compliment per channel through DDM
Leadership & Capability Building
- Develop and strengthen capabilities of DDMs to ensure alignment to talent pipeline
Qualifications
- College/University graduate, Major in Business, Marketing or any related course
- With at least 10 years experience in Sales preferably as Regional Sales Manager or equivalent
- Have strong experience in General Trade
- Good presentation, influencing and communication skills
- Deep understanding of P&L
- Preferably residing within the covered provinces of the region
