Roles and Responsibilities

  • Acts as the single point of contact for the distributors in the region, Local Marketing Team (LMT), and corresponding Source factory for all logistics related concerns for the markets being handled.
  • Order Management – ensures that purchase orders are placed in the system in accordance to the standard leadtime and secure confirmation of all purchase orders.  He/She also needs to ensure delivery of all purchase orders of the distributors on time and in full, and to be able to resolve all order-related issues such as MOQ/MPR, PM/RM shortage, SKU code transition,  capacity allocation if needed. 
  • New Product Management – must be able to work closely with LMT and Regional New Product Development (RNPD) Team on the phase in and phase out of all SKUs, and align on the launch timing of all new products to be launched in the markets. This task also includes ensuring material code is set up in SAP on time to secure capacity and PM/RM preparation.
  • KPI Management – analysis of market and factory performance based on the defined set of KPIs and respective targets.   This includes explanation of any variances, root cause analysis and identification of action items to improve performance.
  • Write Off and Material Obsolescence - Responsible for managing RM and PM obsolescence as the product approaches the end of life cycle. Diligent monitoring of Slow Moving reports to prevent/minimize write offs.  He/She also needs to ensure timely feedback to the factories on Expired RM/PM disposition to facilitate WO Approval and invoicing.
  • Freight Forwarder Management – to address all issues concerning shipment booking together with the factory counterpart, to ensure potential shipment delays are arrested or addressed timely and in a cost effective manner. This task also includes checking and approval of all the invoices for the markets in FIORI system.
  • Conducts performance review with the distributors and LMT on the Supply Chain KPIs, Market Performance, priorities, urgencies, and other alignment as needed via the monthly meeting. 
  • Factory Champion – understanding factory operations and identifying specific actions to help achieve SC shared KPIs. This also includes Service Level Agreement reviews, and leading monthly KPI reviews with the assigned factory.
  • CRM System Management – to provide assistance to the markets on addressing issues concerning usage of the CRM system.  This will entail liaising with Regional IT in diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Management Engineering is strongly preferred or other Business-related courses
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language
  • Can deliver excellent results with minimum supervision
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in various supply chain functions (planning, order management, distribution and operations). 
  • Regional working experience within APAC will be an advantage
