Perfetti Van Melle (manufacturer of Mentos, Chupa Chups, and Airheads) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of candy and gum, with global brands enjoyed in more than 150 countries. We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our growing team.

Qué harás

• You will coordinate engineering projects across various disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, instrumentation, etc.), ensuring they are completed on time, on schedule, and within budget.

• You will prepare and update drawings, schedules, bills of materials, and technical reports for the development and installation of equipment and services.

• You will supervise the execution of projects from conception through implementation, ensuring quality and compliance.

• You will manage budgets, financial closings, and contractor and supplier relations.

• You will identify and mitigate risks associated with operations and regulatory compliance.

• You will promote occupational safety, food safety, and sustainability in all projects.

Qué necesitamos de ti

• Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Chemical, or related engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, ideally in the food or pharmaceutical industry.

• At least 3 years of experience as an engineering coordinator.

• Experience with AutoCAD for engineering design.

• Advanced spoken English.

• Knowledge of BPMs, integrated management systems, C-TPAT, industrial safety, and environmental regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and advanced Excel.

• Skills in planning, analysis, cost management, and leading multidisciplinary teams.

• Results-oriented, adaptable to different situations, and strategic mindset.
