RtR Fixed Asset Accountant
Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Team: Record to Report (RtR), Finance
Reporting to: SSC Manager Amercias BU
Where we need you:
As our RtR Fixed Asset Accountant, you will become part of our international Shared Services Center (SSC), supporting fixed asset accounting for the USA and Canada.
Reporting to the SSC Manager Amercias BU, you will join an international Record to Report team located across Poland and the United States, working closely with colleagues from Finance, Operations and IT. As part of our global SSC organization supporting Europe and North America, you will help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls and continuous process improvement.
In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounting for fixed assets, ensuring the accuracy of the fixed asset register while supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities. You will also partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies in a dynamic multinational FMCG environment.
Your core responsibilities at a glance:
- Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, capitalisations, transfers and disposals.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Calculate and post depreciation in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between the fixed asset subledger and the general ledger.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and internal control requirements.
- Prepare fixed asset reports, analyses and documentation for management and external auditors.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvements within the RtR process.

The ideal recipe for our new RtR Fixed Asset Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on fixed asset accounting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
- Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting, including capitalisation, depreciation, asset transfers and disposals.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Fluent Polish, both written and spoken.
- Flexibility to collaborate across different time zones, including occasional meetings outside standard business hours.

Additional information:
- This role supports business operations across the USA and Canada.
- Flexibility to collaborate with colleagues working in US time zones is required, including occasional meetings outside standard local business hours.
- There may be occasional travel to the United States to support fixed asset audits at our facilities in Erlanger, Kentucky and Rockford, Illinois.
