We are looking for a Regional Operations Consultant Servicedesk who ensures availability of both regional & local IT by effectively analyzing, resolving and preventing incidents within agreed timelines; delivering service requests and standard changes, monitor and ensure optimal service availability and performance. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities consist of:
- Incident & Problem Management: Manage and resolve incidents by identifying, logging, categorizing, and prioritizing them. Monitor incident management effectiveness, coordinate timely resolutions, and ensure data quality for reporting and continuous improvements. Identify and resolve root causes of recurring incidents to prevent future problems.
- Escalation & Change Management: Identify and prioritize major incidents, initiate escalation procedures, and support resolution efforts. Implement standard and non-standard changes, and ensure smooth release and deployment management.
- Service Requests & Capability Management: Manage complex service requests, streamline repetitive tasks for efficiency, and monitor service capacity and availability to meet current and future needs.
- Asset & Configuration Management: Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and auditing of configuration items. Maintain up-to-date asset inventory and ensure only authorized components are used.
- Knowledge Management: Facilitate knowledge sharing across IT teams and continuously improve personal knowledge to support service management processes.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Our candidate offers:
- Vocational IT Education
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG in a matrix environment
- Pro-active and strong customer focus
- Knowledge of MS Office software and Microsoft operating systems
- Knowledge of computer equipment, office equipment and smartphones
- Good knowledge of English
- Communication skills and the ability to work in an international team
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration
